My father was a jolly man, he had a good sence of humour. He liked the horses along with a bottle of cider. He was very stricked with us growing up. He was in the army and alot of his disapline was down to being a soldier. His own mother died when he was 3 years old, He was brought up with his older sister Kate and her family. He had a very hard life. He was a very kind hearted man, He would have given you his last. We miss him not being there, And having a wee blether. When you went to visit him and my mother he would put the kettle on right away, And he would insist that you have something to eat.
